WE ARE BORN ON A PATH OF TRANSFORMATION

When our founder,Barbara Tomiatti Giancola, attended his first master’s class in Communication for Social Purposes, in Segovia, Spain, had no doubts:would found a communication agency and become a university professor to share knowledge🇧🇷

Since then, there have been manyexperiences and studies that served as a theoretical basisfor creating this project. However, for the realization of the idea, something was missing that she could not express with words. And it was through this search for meaning, and an eternal journey of self-knowledge, that she received the call to perform the pilgrimage in the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.

It was in the middle of this walking in peace, intuition and connection with the heart that the first insights of the unique methodologyand what would become Comunica com Alma.

Our nature is perfect and evolutionary in an innate way. Let us be active agents of an evolution at a personal and social level that contributes to the transformation

 planetary.

WHAT IS COMMUNICATION

WITH SOUL?

Communication for peace, from the heart, feeling, sharing and creating connection with yourself, with others and with the planet. The humanization of relationships, the expansion of consciences, the rescue of all that is most valuable: our essence. Communication with Soul involves gestures, words, silence, attitudes, thoughts, intuitions, art and ways of communicating beyond purely rational understanding. It is the work as a whole: mind, heart and soul at the service of communication.

Learning to live together, among all members of the world community, becomes more relevant than ever. To live in peace is to accept differences and have the ability to listen, recognize, respect and appreciate others, as well as live together and peacefully.;

It is the question that guides our existence. The reason we exist are our mission, vision and values. Questioning ''why'' is the key to the change that we dream so much and help to build in the world.

OUR STORY

1993

Life arrived for our founder, Bárbara Tomiatti Giancola, through Patrícia and Felício.

2015

He graduated in Public Relations from Faculdade Cásper Líbero and began his professional life through an internship at the Faculdade's Events Center and soon, in the organization of sporting events in the city of São Paulo. Since childhood, he had the immense privilege of having the support of his family base and friendships along the way.

2016

Working with IRONMAN Brasil, the largest triathlon circuit in Latin America, allowed her to take her first international trip: an exchange program in Auckland, New Zealand! Where she worked as a volunteer on the IRONMAN 70.3 Taupo and did full English training.

2017

After living in NZ and a retreat in neurolinguistic programming, his journey towards self-knowledge intensified. At work, she became responsible for producing Ironkids and began organizing donation campaigns to benefit local communities throughout Brazil.

2018

She received a strong call to continue her studies in the social area and was awarded a scholarship to complete a Master's Degree in Communication for Social Purposes in Spain!

2019

In Segovia, he had the opportunity to work in social services at the Universidad de Valladolid, in the area of Education and Youth of the city hall, to create the project ''Escribe a una mujer,'' to participate in a Congress in Brussels, at the European Parliament and in her spare time, she sang in the city's bars. It was in this same year that she concluded the study that gave her the title of Master and an outstanding evaluation of her academic thesis.

2019

The 12 days of pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago was the experience that accelerated the process of internal transformation and inspired much of the unique methodology and creative idea for the creation of Comunica com Alma. A total of 265km were walked from the city of Porto, in Portugal to the region of Galicia, in Santiago de Compostela, in Spain. A path that transformed his worldview and clarified what his mission and purpose in life would be.

2020

On the 30/11/20th, Comunica com Alma is born! Date of manifestation of a full moon penumbral eclipse. A harmonious conspiracy of the stars that gave us a powerful force to give life to a collective project. In the midst of an axis between the sign of Gemini that governs communication and Sagittarius that breaks boundaries. In the Tzolkin, the archetype that ruled this day is kin 196, magnetic warrior, one who acts from the universal heart. The warrior is that person who, through intelligence, is able to harmonize the masses, as he has the ability to contact and communicate with expanded consciousness.

2021

The first year of Comunica com Alma was full of discoveries and challenges. Undertaking a theme that is underdeveloped in Brazil amid all the complexities of a global pandemic has brought us many learnings. We operate mainly in the social sector, acting as bridges between the Third Sector and companies. We create campaigns to help families fight hunger and facilitate workshops in companies, schools and social movements. We can highlight the creation of the Cabana Burguer Diversity Committee, the CNV and non-capacitance communication workshops with McKinzey, Best Buddies Brasil and the Jô Clemente Institute and the hybrid socio-emotional development workshops with the youth of Gerando Falcões.

2022

With the approval of our founder in the Doctorate in Peace, Conflicts and Development at Universitat Jaume I, in Spain, Comunica com Alma expands borders! With just one year and five months of life, our work has gained new territory, culture and language. We can highlight our workshop with Unipaz France, the partnerships with Amnistía España, for the defense of human rights, the workshops with the Semillero Deep Circle network, for the propagation of the culture of peace and the participation in six International Congresses where we present our methodologies and experiences for the international scientific academy.

2022

Training in Socio-Emotional Development with young people from Gerando Falcões was recognized in the Final Result of the 5th Edition of the Seal of Human Rights and Diversity of the Municipal Secretary of Human Rights and Citizenship (SMDHC) of São Paulo! Recognition resulting from the partnership with Gerando Falcões and Best Buddies Brasil in a path traced with a lot of dedication and love! The Seal recognizes the efforts of all organizations that propose to carry out an initiative that takes the agenda of human rights, diversity, inclusion and accessibility, whether for their internal community or for society.

Among the highlights of the program is the Communication with Soul seminar, by researcher Bárbara Tomiatti Giancola, on communication for peace. Her work discusses the importance of communicating empathetically in times of polarization. “What we are observing in relation to hate speech and this intolerance towards the other shows us that we are going against the grain. We need to accept this invitation to look at peace as a viable solution”, he comments.
